Museum of Flight
Seattle, WA
The independent, non-profit Museum of Flight is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, attracting more than 400,000 visitors annually. The Museum's collection includes more than 150 historically significant air- and spacecraft, as well as the Red Barn®—the original manufacturing facility of The Boeing Co. The Museum's aviation and space library and archives are the largest on the West Coast. More than 100,000 individuals are served annually by the Museum's on-site and outreach educational programs. The Museum of Flight is one of only 750 museums in the nation and nine in Washington state that are fully accredited by the American Association of Museums.
Your donations help:
EDUCATION — The Museum annually serves 80,000 Washington State school children through 28 different instructor-led programs that help build interest and understanding math, science, and technology.

RESTORATION — Annually, the Museum acquires 2-4 new air or space craft and has ongoing restorations of an additional 12 major historical artifacts. Contributions underwrite acquisitions and support restorations.

ARCHIVES & LIBRARY — A world-class museum requires a substantial library and archive. Each year over 500 filmmakers, researchers, teachers and authors visit The Museum of Flight in search of original source material to further our collective knowledge and understanding of flight.

EXHIBITS — The Museum currently has several exhibits that require constant updating, maintenance, and renovation. These include the original Air Force One, the supersonic Concorde, The Great Gallery and the Personal Courage Wing (dedicated to remembering and honoring the pilots and aircraft of WWI & WWII).
