Our Mission: To empower and engage children and those who love and care for them in the joy of learning. As they EXPLORE their world with changing, hands-on exhibits and activities, they will SOAR with their newfound knowledge.

The museum utilizes the Illinois Learning Standards in exhibit and program development. These standards are the requirements, by grade level, of what children in the state of Illinois need to know by the end of their academic year. This truly makes the museum an extension of classroom learning.
