The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum opened in 1997 and is now the most visited art museum in New Mexico, welcoming 175,000 people each year. In stewards the largest collection of O'Keeffe's work in a single site in the world - more than 50% of O'Keeffe's total output over her lifetime. In addition to stewarding O'Keeffe's artistic legacy, the Museum stewards her two homes in northern New Mexico: Ghost Ranch and Abiquiu House. Abiquiu House is also open to the public.
