Northern Mariposa County History Center
Our museum was created in 1976 to preserve the history of our gold rush town which was created in 1849. We dedicate ourselves to preserving our past for our future. We have school tours so that future generations can learn how life was during the gold rush. We have pictures, clothing, household items, mining items, toys and many more items that show how people lived worked and played.
Your donations help:
Your shopping donation will help us raise funds to keep our museum open each year. Because we are a non-profit organization and we do not charge admission to our museum but accept donations, we struggle each year to pay the bills. Since you already purchase items online, why not continue to do that and help us out at the same time.
There are many ways you can get involved.
