By using Shop For Museums, you have the opportunity to direct donations based on third party retailer transactions (“ Retailers”), in the form of merchant referral fees, to your choice of participating museums and related organizations listed on the Shop For Museums website.

As a user, you are also given the opportunity to recommend a museum to join Shop For Museums. Shop For Museums accepts not-for-profit museums, parks, zoos, aquariums, and other related culturally or socially significant organizations. To respect the consent, privacy and reputation of our participating museums and organizations, all museum recommendations are screened and then manually accepted into the Shop For Museums fundraising program.

Donations.

The donations made on your behalf through Shop For Museums are made by way of merchant referral fees. They vary in amount from retailer to retailer. Donations are made by Shop For Museums. You may not assert or attempt to assert any tax benefit from the donations. You may not make any legal warranties or representations to any donation recipient regarding donations made on your behalf.

User Comments and Personal Information.

We welcome your comments regarding our site and our services. However, any comments, ideas, suggestions or other information you send to the site will not be treated as confidential or proprietary. Any comment, idea, suggestion or other information you transmit to us through the site will become the property of Shop For Museums. Shop For Museums will ask permission for use of any individual comments, stories, suggestions or other information before publishing anything on the website or in marketing materials.

The site contains links to third party sites, “Retailers.” You recognize that Shop For Museums does not control, operate or endorse any products made available by the retailers. The Retailer site links do not constitute Shop For Museums’s endorsement of any third party, its web site, its company operations, or its goods and services. Shop For Museums and retailers are independent contractors, without authority of any kind to make any commitments or representations of the other party. Shop For Museums is not responsible for any linked sites, services or other materials linked to or from the site, and disclaims all liability for any injury you may suffer by using such materials. Shop For Museums lists various retailer links, sales, ads, coupons and discount offers, on the website to encourage transactions with third party retailers. However, Shop For Museums is not held liable for any instance where the retailer chooses not to honor a transaction, including, but not limited to, an outdated coupon or offer, and will not be held responsible to pay out donations on transactions where merchandise is returned, unresolved merchant-shopper disputes exist or on monies never received by Shop For Museums.

Termination.

If you fail to comply with these terms, Shop For Museums automatically (without notice to you) withdraws its consent to your use of the site. However, your obligations under these terms will continue, including restrictions regarding the Content, disclaimers and liability limitations. If you lose the right to use the site, you must promptly destroy all Content and copies of Content that you downloaded or obtained from this Site.
