The Historical Society is an educational and cultural institution dedicated to preserving and sharing our growing historical collections and extensive archives with our members, visitors, and the community. With over 2 ½ million photographs in our archives and four historic museums, we are able to connect the past to the future, so that all generations will understand and appreciate the richness of San Diego’s regional history.

Your donations help:
Proceeds from the shopping donation will benefit the San Diego Historical Society’s educational programs and exhibitions. Proceeds will also help to sustain the Society’s flagship museum, the Museum of San Diego History, the research library, archives in Balboa Park, as well as the society’s three additional museums: The Serra Museum, the Villa Montezuma and the Marston House Museum.
