Main Line Art Center
Founded in 1937 by a group of local artists who wanted to teach their students, Main Line Art Center is a 501(c)(3) arts service organization. The Art Center’s mission is “to inspire and engage artistic creativity for individuals of all ages and abilities and to celebrate and strengthen the essential role of visual art in community life.” Main Line Art Center strives to lead the region’s community and visual arts programming by making art accessible to everyone through its excellent classes for all ages and abilities and its wide-spread outreach programs, promoting new artists through multiple exhibition opportunities, and educating patrons and new audiences who can grow to support the arts in the future. The Art Center’s programs reach over 10,000 enthusiastic students and art viewers, ages two to senior citizens, each year. Named by Philadelphia Magazine as the Main Line's "Funky Find" and voted "Best Art Instruction" by readers of Main Line Life, Main Line Art Center continues to nurture and strengthen the creative spirit of children and adults, while enhancing community through the visual arts.
Your donations help:
Because tuition alone does not fully cover all the costs of running the amazing classes we offer each session, and since many of our programs and exhibitions are free and open to the public, we rely on contributions. Contributions provide direct support for classes, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, trips, and outreach programs that reach over 10,000 students and enthusiastic art viewers each year.
There are many ways you can get involved.
