The mission of the 1st Cavalry Museum is to collect, preserve, interpret, exhibit and educate military personnel and the general public on the history of the 1st Cavalry Division and its subordinate units. When you are in the Fort Hood area, you are invited to tour both the Museum and the adjacent Souvenir Shop. The museum will provide you the opportunity to share a piece of the past with your family.
Donations will be used for the construction of new facilities and purchase of artifacts for the collection.
